Career and player stats
Coilbox keeps a record of the games you play. Career shows how far you have got in each game, across campaigns, Conquest, Warpath and battles against AI. Player stats shows your record from your replays: games, wins, favourite maps, factions and achievements. It also has a page for every other player in your replays, with your record against them.
Open them from Records > Career and Records > Player stats in the sidebar.
Everything on these pages is worked out on your computer from your own replays and saves. There is no server and no account behind them, and nothing on them can be edited.
Career
Career has an Overview at the top, then a card for each game you have played.
The Overview shows your totals across every game:
- Games against AI, and how many you won.
- Conquests won, out of those finished.
- Warpath, the number of runs and wins.
- Campaigns finished, out of those started.
A tile only appears once there is something to count. Your player stats, at the top right, opens your own page in Player stats.
Under the totals are your newest achievements. See them all on Player stats opens the full list. See Achievements.
Each game's card has a section for each kind of play you have done in that game:
- Campaigns lists each campaign you have started, with how many missions you have finished and the next one. Select a campaign to open it.
- Conquest shows how many conquests you have won and finished, the highest threat level you have unlocked and how many are in progress.
- Warpath shows your runs and wins, the deepest column you reached, your ascension tier, and the loadouts and event pools you have unlocked.
- Against AI shows your games, wins and losses against AI in that game, and the AI you have played most.
Open Conquest, Open Warpath and Open Player stats take you to the page each section comes from. A game you have since removed carries a Not installed badge.
Earlier Warpath runs, at the bottom, holds runs from before Warpath kept a record per game. What they unlocked is offered in every game.
If one of the records cannot be read, a line at the top of the page says which, and the rest of the page still shows. Before you have played anything, the page suggests where to start.
Player stats
Player stats is built from the replays in your content folders. These are the same replays the Replays page lists. The page reads any new ones each time you open it, and the number of games it has read is shown beside the player list.
Choose who you are
Player stats has no way to know which name is yours, so pick it from the Player list at the top. At first it picks the name that appears in the most replays. Your pick is remembered, and Career and the head to head on other players' pages use it too.
A player is known by their in-game name. If you have played under two names, each one has its own record.
Your record
The tiles at the top show:
- Games, every game you played in. If some have no known result, the number with a result is shown under it.
- Win rate, your wins out of the games with a known result, with the wins and losses under it.
- Streak, how many games in a row you have most recently won or lost.
- Best win run, your longest run of wins in a row.
Favourite maps and Factions list the maps and factions you have played most. Each row shows your wins out of the games played, and the win rate.
Against AI lists your games against each AI. Each row is one AI in one game, at one bonus setting, with your wins and losses. A game against several different AIs counts on each one's row.
If you have made sets of replays on the Replays page, a Replays list appears at the top. Pick a set to work out every figure on the page from that set alone, for example one tournament. Pick All replays to go back.
Achievements
Achievements are milestones you earn by playing. Each one shows a lock until you earn it and a tick once you have, with the date you earned it and a bar showing how far you have got.
| Group | Achievements |
|---|---|
| Milestones | First game, then 10, 50 and 100 games played |
| Victories | First win, then 10 and 50 games won |
| Streaks | 3, 5 and 10 wins in a row |
| Variety | 3 different factions played, 3 and 5 different AIs beaten, 5 and 15 different maps played |
| Activity | 10 games played within 7 days |
Each achievement's name and what it needs is on the page.
Achievements are worked out again from your replays every time, so they are not stored anywhere. If you delete replays, achievements that rested on them can go back to locked.
Another player's page
Select a player's name on a replay's page to open their page in Player stats. See Players on the Replays page.
The page shows that player's record from your replays: Games, Win rate, Best win run and Last seen, then their Favourite maps and Factions. Replays lists every replay of yours they played in, newest first, with the result. Select one to open it.
Player stats, at the top left, goes back to the main Player stats page.
Head to head
When the page is for somebody other than you, Head-to-head with you shows the games you have both played in:
- Together is your record when you were on the same side.
- Against is your record when you were opponents.
- Maps you've shared lists the maps you have both played on.
Match figures and units ordered
Match figures shows the player's own figures per minute, such as metal produced and damage dealt, averaged over their games. The All, Wins and Losses columns compare their games overall with the ones they won and lost. Trend, under the table, draws one figure from game to game. Pick the figure from its list.
Units ordered lists the units the player ordered across their games, with how much metal those orders cost. Select a column's name to sort by it. These are orders, not units built. Finished and Died only fill in for replays you have analysed. See Analyse a replay.
A game whose version is not installed may be left out of Units ordered. The line under the heading says how many games were counted and how many were left out.
The matchup
The matchup is your record against one player, from the games where you were opponents.
To open it, select See the matchup by map, faction and game length under Head-to-head with you on that player's page. It only appears once you have played against them. In a lobby, a player's private note also shows how many games you have played together and offers See the matchup. See The member list.
The page shows:
- Overall, your wins out of your games against them.
- By map, your record on each map.
- By faction pairing, your faction against theirs.
- By game length, in four bands: up to 30 minutes, 30 minutes to 1 hour, 1 to 2 hours, and over 2 hours.
- Games, every game against them, newest first. Select one to open its replay.
Each row has a row of small squares, one per game, oldest first. A filled square is a win, a red one is a loss and an outline is a game with no recorded result.
The matchup shows counts, such as "2 of 3 won", rather than percentages. Most matchups are only a few games, and a percentage of three games suggests a trend that is not there.
Games where you were on the same side are left out, and so are games where a side is unknown.
What is counted
Only games you played in count. A game you watched as a spectator is not counted.
Some games are left out of the figures:
- A remix, the copy of a replay that plays on another version of the game.
- A refight, a replay of a match set up again with Refight this setup.
They still appear in a player's list of replays, with a Remix or Refight badge, so the list is complete.
A game with no recorded result counts as a game played, but not as a win or a loss. It is left out of the win rate and does not break a streak. See When a replay has no result or no chart.
Against AI, and the achievements for beating AIs, leave out games from campaigns, Conquest and Warpath. They count your other battles against AI, such as a singleplayer battle. AIs do not have a page of their own.
A replay that cannot be read is not counted. The count beside the player list says how many could not be read.
